Boater's Education In Person Class

Event Description

This class is designed to familiarize you with the standard navigation rules, boating laws, boating equipment use, and best practices for safety while out on the water. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1986 is required to have taken and passed a NASBLA and state approved course in order to operate any kind of watercraft propelled by motor or sail.

Certifications You’ll Need Before You Start Your Application

After passing this class, you'll receive the following certification(s):

• Boater Education - NASBLA Approved

Event Requirements

Participants must pass a test to receive a Boater Education card.

- Min Age: 1
- Max Age: 85

Classroom for 60 people.

Anyone born on or after January 1st, 1986 must obtain their boater education. This course is free of charge and written on a 6th grade reading level. All materials will be provided and registration is required. An hour lunch break will be given.
