Event Description

Hunter Education is a 10-hour, instructor-led and hands-on demonstration class that develops safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1969, is required to have taken and passed state approved a Hunter Education Safety Course in order to be legal to hunt in the State of Arkansas.

After passing this class, you'll receive the following certification(s):

Event Requirements

  • Students must attend all ten hours to become certified.

Prerequisites
    • Min Age: 11
    • Max Age: 80

Classroom for 60 people.

Anyone born on or after January 1st, 1968 must complete an approved Hunter Education Course. All materials will be supplied. An hour lunch break will be given, but lunch will not provided. Registration is required and this course is recommended for those ages 12 and above, but is required for ages 16 and above.
