You will be coached on shooting techniques and learn to shoot from different positions. You will learn about different types of handguns, their components, and ammunition.

Event Requirements

Please wear closed-toed shoes.

Learn basic pistol fundamentals and get hands-on training to better your skill. This course is open to anyone 18 years and above and for beginner to intermediate shooters. The entirety of this course will take place at the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex with the morning portion inside and the afternoon portion outside on the range. Please dress accordingly and bring water. Closed toed shoes are required. All supplies will be provided, but you may bring your own pistol to practice with if you’d like. Hunter's Education is preferred, but not required for this course. An hour lunch break will be provided and registration is required.
