Volunteer Educator Training

Event Description

This course consists of five in depth lessons to help train new and existing volunteers. We know our volunteers have a wealth of knowledge and we hope to expand that, allowing them to inspire the next generation of outdoorsmen and women.

After passing this class, you'll receive the following certification(s):

• Certified Volunteer Educators

All applicants must complete the general volunteer or youth volunteer application before registration.

Join our educators for an in-depth professional development opportunity. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, we encourage you to join us for this course. This training will consist of 3 sessions with the option of weekday or weekend classes to accommodate all schedules. Gain the chance to inspire the next generation about the outdoors with your unique skills and knowledge. All applicants must complete a general volunteer application prior to completion of training. Once you complete this registration, be on the lookout for a follow up email with more information. You must attend either one weekday or weekend offering per session, for a total of three separate training sessions.

The dates of each session are as follows:

Session 1: August 27th or August 29th

Session 2: September 3rd or September 5th

Session 3: September 17th or September 19th
