Event Description

Have you ever wanted to know what trees are around you? This is your opportunity to learn how to identify common Arkansas trees and some less-common ones. You will take a short hike through the woods, and learn how to use a dichotomous key to identify the trees in our area. You must be 18 years or older.

What To Bring

If you want to get ahead of the pack, consider Tree Finder: A Manual for Identification of Trees by their Leaves (Eastern US) (Nature Study Guides), available in Paperback on Amazon for around $6.00. I will have a few class copies you can use on the hike.
