Hunter Education In Person Class

Event Description

Hunter Education is a 10-hour, instructor-led and hands-on demonstration class that develops safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1969, is required to have taken and passed state approved a Hunter Education Safety Course in order to be legal to hunt in the State of Arkansas.

More Information

This class satisfies the requirement for those born after 1968, which allows them to hunt. Participants must attend the full ten-hour (10) course and pass the final exam to earn their Hunters Ed card. Class begins precisely at 9 AM and will run until around 8 PM. Please arrive early and be prepared for a long day.

A break for lunch will be provided, however, the drive to town will cut into your lunch time. Please plan to bring lunch or have plans to have lunch at the park. A refrigerator and microwave will be accessible; also plan to bring snacks and drinks for the day.

NOTE: The class materials are written on a 12-year-old reading level. Please consider the age when registering for this class.

We will have everything you need except for a meal.
