Join us for a weekend-long program that covers all the basics of deer hunting. We will start with sighting in and firing rifles, and then we will discuss deer habitat and biology. Participants will have multiple opportunities to hunt. After a hopefully successful hunt, we will teach you how to field dress and quarter your harvest. Firearms and ammunition will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer. To participate, you must be 18 years old and possess a valid Arkansas hunting license and a hunter education card. Preference will be given to women who have never hunted deer before, followed by women with limited hunting experience who have not harvested a deer.

There is a $75 fee for this program.  You will receive a payment link upon acceptance.

To be considered, complete the Google Form Application and complete the checkout process.  You will be notified by email upon acceptance.

We have two openings available for hunters with mobility impairments.  You will receive more information after the Google Form is submitted.

For clarification, a mobility impairment is defined as a permanent physical condition that severely affects mobility due to paralysis or the amputation of one or both lower extremities.  The condition requires assistance from a wheelchair, braces, crutches, or similar aids.
