Family Fun Day: Family Fun

Event Description

Join us for a fun-filled day of fishing! There will also be archery and BB gun stations for you to participate in. There will be free health screenings available for anyone who attends.

Family Fun Day: Celebrating the City of Oceola's 150th year and the 50th Family and Community Fishing Program pond in the state. Outdoor activities include the kid zone, fishing, BB gun shooting, archery, canoeing, fish cleaning, cooking demonstrations, and more. Minority Health Commission will offer free health and wellness screenings. Lunch is provided while supplies last. Bring your fishing gear. Children ages 16 or older will need a valid AGFC fishing license. This event is sponsored by the City of Oceola, Hybar Steel, Tyson Foods, Minority Health Commission, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Foundation, Hiram of Tyre of Jonesboro, AR, and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

What To Bring

Bring your fishing gear and bait along with chairs, sunscreen and snacks, and drinks for the day. Anyone fishing over the age of 16 is required to have a fiishing license.
