Caves Professional Development

Event Description

The Caves program serves as a valuable resource to assist educators and community leaders in spearheading conservation efforts for our state's subterranean wonders. Interested parties may register to become a Cave school. Cave schools are required to participate in Caves training and deliver a minimum of three cave-related lessons annually. This training qualifies for Professional Development hours for educators. To facilitate the instruction of these lessons, teachers will be provided with a Caving Kit, which includes helmets, knee and elbow pads, headlamps, and other supporting materials.
