This class is designed to find and identify birds that call Arkansas home, whether that be all year long or just for a few weeks as they migrate through. We will discuss AGFCs ongoing reward-based program (Wings over Arkansas) that identifies these numerous feathered creatures in the state. We will also look at the tools that aren't necessarily needed but highly recommended to find and identify birds. These tools can be field-based, like binoculars and field guides, or electronic-based, like EBird, Merlin, Audubon, or other apps that may help identify or document.
