Event Description

Hunter Education is a 10-hour, instructor-led and hands-on demonstration class that develops safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1969, is required to have taken and passed state approved a Hunter Education Safety Course in order to be legal to hunt in the State of Arkansas.

This class is taught at the sixth-grade reading level. 

All students will need their own account to register. Students 13 and under will need to be linked to a parent/guardian account. Instructions are included. 

Certifications You’ll Need Before You Start Your Application

After passing this class, you'll receive the following certification(s):
  • • Hunter Education

Event Requirements

  • Students must attend all ten hours to become certified.

Prerequisites
    • Min Age: 10
    • Max Age: 18
