Beginning Fishing: Hey, Let's Go Fishing!

Event Description

Want to learn how to go fishing but not sure how to begin? This class will provide you with the basic information to get started. Appropriate for all ages, we will cover rod and reel types, basic fish biology, bait and lure selection, and how to tie two fishing knots. All materials are provided.

Join us every Friday in June for Hey, Let’s Go Fishing at Access 5 in Craighead Forest Park. We will be there with poles and bait from 9:30-11am. This access is for youth 15 and younger and adults 65 and older. Parents may assist children 15 and younger, but must have a fishing license.
