Hunter Education is a 10-hour, instructor-led and hands-on demonstration class that develops safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1969, is required to have taken and passed state approved a Hunter Education Safety Course in order to be legal to hunt in the State of Arkansas.

3 night class at the Gene Moss building in Benton, hosted in partnership with the Benton Parks and Recreation team. This is a FREE class but you must register yourself to earn the Hunter Education certification. You must attend all 3 nights and make a passing grade of 80% or above to successfully complete the class. This material is presented on a 5th grade reading level, if you have any reading or learning disabilities or challenges, please make that known to the instructor. Students under the age of 16 must have someone who assumes responsibility for the student at all times. AGFC staff and volunteers are not responsible for juveniles.
