Participants will learn introductory kayak skills, such as the difference between sit-in and sit-on-top kayaks, basic paddle strokes, what basic equipment to bring on a kayak float trip, and how to load and unload a kayak, all about life jackets and other safety considerations, etc. We'll spend time on flat water practicing our basic paddling skills.

Participants must be 18 years or older and are expected to attend all four classes. Please purchase an Arkansas Fishing License and life jacket. Locations will be in Sebastian and Crawford County. Please email kendra.ingle@agfc.ar.gov to register. Registration is required for the event.
