Event Description

Want to learn how to go fishing but not sure how to begin? This class will provide you with the basic information to get started. Appropriate for all ages, we will cover rod and reel types, basic fish biology, bait and lure selection, and how to tie two fishing knots. All materials are provided.

More Information

This event is for students at ASU in Jonesboro students. This relaxing evening event will include a basic fishing lesson, a fish fileting demonstration, fishing at Crooked Creek, and a fish cooking demonstration. All participants must have a valid Arkansas fishing license which can be purchased here. All of the equipment and instruction will be provided by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Come enjoy a relaxing evening outdoors with friends!
