Event Description

AGFC is working to increase conservation education, outdoor learning, and outdoor recreation opportunities for students in Arkansas and to increase awareness of conservation careers and inspire the next generation of conservation professionals. This professional development class is to introduce teachers to the various offerings AGFC has to offer.

Step outside the traditional classroom and discover how nature becomes your greatest teaching tool. In this professional development session, elementary educators will explore strategies for integrating outdoor education through literacy instruction. This will help educators connect outdoor experiences to their curriculum through supplemental tools, build student engagement, and help create lasting connections through reading comprehension and environmental exploration.
