Event Description

Hunter Education is a 10-hour, instructor-led and hands-on demonstration class that develops safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1969, is required to have taken and passed state approved a Hunter Education Safety Course in order to be legal to hunt in the State of Arkansas.

Hunter Education is a 10 hour, instructor led and hands-on class that develops, safe, responsible, and knowledgeable hunters. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1969, is required to have taken and passed state approved Hunter Education Safety Course in order to be legally allowed to hunt in the State of Arkansas.

This class will be offered through the afterschool program. This class will be from 4:00-5:00 for 2 1/2 weeks. Families of our students are welcome to join.

Certifications You’ll Need Before You Start Your Application

After passing this class, you'll receive the following certification(s):

• Hunter Education

Event Requirements

Students must attend all ten hours to become certified.

Prerequisites

- Min Age: 8
- Max Age: 99
