Want to learn how to go fishing but not sure how to begin? This class will provide you with the basic information to get started. Appropriate for all ages, we will cover rod and reel types, basic fish biology, bait and lure selection, and how to tie two fishing knots. All materials are provided.

Participants will learn general knowledge and fun facts about trout, their preferred habitat, and feeding habits. After a brief introduction, participants will have time to fish for trout in Amon's Lake. After fishing, participants will then have the chance to learn, and practice hands on, different ways to process/clean trout. To conclude the class, we will have a sample of one of the many ways to prepare trout for participants to taste test.
