Beginning Fishing: Make your own fishing lure!

Event Description

Want to learn how to go fishing but not sure how to begin? This class will provide you with the basic information to get started. Appropriate for all ages, we will cover rod and reel types, basic fish biology, bait and lure selection, and how to tie two fishing knots. All materials are provided.

Fishing is a great way to spend time with family and friends. Join us on Tuesday, March 24th in our Discovery Room to learn all about crank bait. You’ll discover why fishing lures come in so many shapes, sizes, and colors. Participants will then have the opportunity to make their very own fishing lure to take home and add to their tackle box! This activity is open to all ages. Registration is required.
