Beginning Fishing: Fishing for Fun!

Event Description

Want to learn how to go fishing but not sure how to begin? This class will provide you with the basic information to get started. Appropriate for all ages, we will cover rod and reel types, basic fish biology, bait and lure selection, and how to tie two fishing knots. All materials are provided.

Classroom for 60 people.

Join us for an afternoon of fish ID and fun! We will start with basic fish anatomy and then play a few games to help hone in those fish identification skills. To furthermore help with fish identification, each participant will have the opportunity to make a fish craft to take home. This class is recommended for ages 6-10 and parents are required to stay. Registration is required.
