Spring Becoming an Outdoors Women Weekend: Macroinvertebrates
Event Description
Join us for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and outdoor education. We are offering a variety of classes over the three days. There are options for Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning. Simply choose classes for the day and time you would like to attend. We do not offer meals or lodging for this program. There is no charge. Space is limited, so if you can no longer attend, please withdraw your registration.
More Information
Did you know you could learn about ecology by playing in the creek? In this class, we’ll take a closer look at the group of aquatic creatures called macroinvertebrates. Learn how to collect and identify macroinvertebrates while discovering what they can tell us about the diversity and health of waterways in Arkansas. Boost your citizen science toolbox by playing in the water. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet!
