Event Description

Join us for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and outdoor education.  We are offering a variety of classes over the three days.  There are options for Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning.  Simply choose classes for the day and time you would like to attend.  We do not offer meals or lodging for this program.  There is no charge.  Space is limited, so if you can no longer attend, please withdraw your registration.

More Information

In this field-based class, students will utilize their previously built free-floating fishing devices to catch fish during a mentored fishing trip. Students will also learn basic bow fishing skills in a hands-on environment. Participants with archery experience will have the opportunity to bow fish.  There will be an archery class Saturday morning.  Students must have attended the prerequisite “Building/Basic Alternative Fishing” class to participate in this course. A fishing license is required.

Event Requirements

  • BOW programs are for women 18 and over.

    • Min Age: 19
    • Max Age: 99

What To Bring

Gear is provided for all classes, but you may bring your own.  Bring a chair, snack, water, and wear appropriate clothing for your class.
